When I try to run the year end close on financials, I get the following error message:
“Account assigned to a transaction is missing.”
Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Query your GL Transaction table to see if there is a missing GL Account

select * from GL20000 where ACTINDX not in (select ACTINDX from GL00100)
select * from GL30000 where ACTINDX not in (select ACTINDX from GL00100)

A GL Account record may have been deleted by accident or the ACTINDX field in GL20000 is zero

Thanks for the responses.  I was able to fix the issue using the queries Timothy provided.

      Thanks again!

      Also,
You might try running the PSTL tool that will rebuild the Account Index table.
      Kind regards,
      Leslie
