      Hi

Is there a way to attach supporting documentation to General Ledger Transactions?

      Thanks for any insight

      Judi

      ?Hi Judi,

To the right of the journal number is a note field. When opened you can type in notes, and use the paperclip icon to attach documentation.

When completed click on Attach to save the notes and attachments. The note will change color letting you know that there is information on it.

Thank you,Ā  when I click on the note I have the sticky note but no Paper clip.Ā  Do I need to “turn something on” or do you think it is another product I need to buy? Ā

?Check the value of your OLEPath= setting in your Dex.ini file. If you don’t have one, or if the path is pointing to an unmapped network location, that could be the problem.

?If you are on GP2015 or later you could also look into enabling and using the “doc attach” feature.Ā  You would still follow the path provided in previous responses but after clicking on the paperclip, you would get the document attachment management window.

?I’m sharing the notes I saved when I set it up in one of our companies:
And the 2 security settings (Document Attachment Inquiry and Document Attachment Management)
      Hope this helps.
