When I enter a “General” entry as  “reversing” – the reversing entry is not generated.  Is this a bug or is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

Does it ask for a reversing date?  Did you post it?

Yes, it asks for a reversing date in the same manner it does when entering thru a batch.  Typically, the transaction date is the last day of a month and the reversing date is the first day of the next month.  I’ve posted such transactions but the reversing transaction is not generated.

Of course this works fine when entering thru a batch.

I had this issue in GP13 and thought perhaps when we recently upgraded to GP16 it might work but it does not.

What reversing date do you change it to. It defaults to the same date.

I use this functionality extensively, but I always put my transactions in a batch.  I don’t think I’ve ever had this issue, but again, I put mine into a batch.
