Extended Pricing – Price Sheet Detail Maintenance Window NEED TABLE
Posted by Kristen Hosman, Microsoft MVP on August 23, 2017 at 12:29 pm-
Does anyone know what table the highlighted information below is in? Ā The rest of the information in this window are in tables IC10401 & IV10402 but I really need the as of date information.

Kristen,This is what the GP documentation has to say on the fields in the “Base Adjusted Price On” section of that window.
This selection will not be saved; it is for inquiry purposes only. For example, you might want to see a value off the base price at a future date, or you might want to see prices for a customer who receives discounts from a price book other than the base book.
I’m not 100% sure exactly how this functions, but I would guess it is used in some temp table that populates the Adjusted Price field in the grid just below that section in the window. Ā At any rate, it is definitely not stored anywhere once you close the window, and I notice it keeps populating with the GP System Date each time the window is opened.

Hi ,
FWIW, the only table that I could find “As of Date”, related to inventory, was in IV70500, which is the Inventory Report Options table.Ā So it sounds like idea of a temp table is most likely what is happening.
Just curious, what is it you’re trying to report on?

Hi Frank.
Sales Manager would like to be able to pull a report with the items on a price sheet that would show this date. Ā Our theory would be that this date would tell us when that item was added to the price sheet. Ā Since the price sheet may have a different start date this was one way I was thinking of getting this information. ..but maybe I can’t. š

Kristen,
This one peaked my interest so I did some digging.Ā I found this in the help manual:- Use the Base Adjusted Price On options to verify the effects of price adjustment.
This selection will not be saved; it is for inquiry purposes only. For example, you might want to see a value off the base price at a future date, or you might want to see prices for a customer who receives discounts from a price book other than the base book.
So the fields in that entire box are not saved, just used for “what if” type inquires. Ā
But… I added a window note and was able to create a SmartList to pull it (from table SY0700).Ā Only problem is that since it’s a window note, it’s not price sheet specific.Ā I did add 2 lines of notes to reflect different price sheets, but that could be cumbersome if you have a lot of sheets – and tough to parse.
So I really don’t have a good answer – other than confirmation that what you want to report on isn’t saved – just some interesting digging.Ā If by chance you’re an eOne customer, you could use their Extender product to add an extra field to that window for easy reporting.
Thanks

Kristen,One final thought from me on this, based on what you are trying to accomplish. Ā I have in the past used a SQL Trigger to track INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE actions on a specific table. Ā You definitely want to be sure this isn’t something that is going to hurt performance. Ā I think you should be okay in this case because these aren’t daily transactions you are tracking, just price setup changes being made as needed.
