Does anyone have suggestions for Copy/Paste functionality from Excel to Payables?Ā  I know that functionality exists in the G/L, but it looks like we would have to use a 3rd party app for Payables.Ā  Just curious if anyone has found a good option.

      Thank you.

      Hi ,

Armanino has additional excel copy paste options.Ā  I’m including the link below.

      https://www.resgroup.com/microsoft-dynamics-gp-accounting-software/copy-and-paste-tools

There has also been some talk about the October 2020 release including copy/past functionality for the Payables (link to one such article below).Ā  I’m not sure that’s 100% certain yet.Ā  – can you confirm if this feature made it in the October release?

      https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/azurecurve/posts/what-s-new-in-the-microsoft-dynamics-gp-october-2020-release???

      Thanks,

      Samantha

      Hi ,

If by the “new” you mean what’s coming out with the latest version of GP, what I’ve read thus far hasn’t explicitly said one way or the other.

What I’ve read has said you can use the excel copy/paste for payables “just like the GL”….and the GL feature doesn’t include intercompany.Ā  confirmed the new payables copy/paste made it into GP so she may be able to confirm if it contains the intercompany feature or not.

If it does not, I believe a few of the other resources/add ins referenced in this thread would address the intercompany payables.??

      Thanks,

      Samantha

      Hi ,

GP’s native Copy/Paste functionality does not include the intercompany piece, and I don’t believe the release scheduled for October 2020 does either.

However, you can use one of the following solutions for intercompany journal entries:
      1.) SmartConnect
      2.)Integration Manager
      3.) Infinia Integrator? -http://www.excelintegrator.comĀ

Take a look at those options.Ā  If you have questions, I’m happy to go into more detail on any that strike your fancy.

      Thanks,

      Samantha
