My company is in the middle of setting up EFT’s for payables.Ā  Ā Other than a pre-note, does anyone send “test” ACH’s to vendors?Ā  (ie – send a partial payment for $1 and have vendor confirm receipt)

Thanks in advance for your feedback!Ā

      Hi Scott,
Not sure if it is a common practice, but I’ve seen it quite often that once the EFT for a new vendor is setup, a ‘dummy’ transaction of 0.10$ is sent over to test if the ACH paiment goes thru.. usually vendors will reply within 48hrs they have received it.
