  Dynamics GP What’s New – using Power BI

  Hello fellow GPUG members!

  Last year I put out for the GP community a free resource I created as a passion project that combines the official “What’s New in GP” documentation with a Power BI Report. We had a lot of interest and downloads which was great to see! Also had the honor of debuting this at GPUG Summit in 2022.

  Happy to report that I’ve finally gotten the 18.6 updates done to the report, and it is now available for free download! There are a couple of videos on the page that show how the report works.

  I personally use this frequently with our GP team, and with our GP customers. It allows us to quickly highlight which versions a customer is upgrading from/to, so we can quickly group and isolate the new features that would apply to them. You can see the modules, the type of new feature you are getting, the type of user who might be interested in knowing about the feature, a short and log description, and a hyperlink to the official documentation to learn more.
