Our company is moving from Expensify to Concur and I am looking at the various options to importing the Concur file in AP for payment.Ā  With Expensify, we had it setup for Expensify to make the payment to the employee. With Concur, we will be processing the payments ourselves using AP.Ā  Due to the time sensitivity, our initial integration is going to be Integration Manager (Smart Connect is owned but has never been used in the production environment).Ā  What I am looking for is if anyone has/is utilizing Integration manager and if there is an Integration template for Concur that we could utilize.Ā  Alternatively, has anyone used the Concur Expense Integrator from CustomerSource/PartnerSource?Ā  The documentation seems to be lacking in some areas and has left me unclear if it can be used.

We use ExpenseConnect to integrate Concur data into GP, and it seems to be working well. I’m still new to my sys analyst position and haven’t dug into that specific process just yet, so i can’t speak on too much detail yet.

If you can get a file out then it’s easier, but you will have to do coding in IM.

Usually with concur you have to code if/then scenarios, so in IM that will be much more difficult than with SmartConnect.

      Michael,

I know you have said that SmartConnect isn’t implemented in production yet, but since you own it if you are interested in getting that implemented and using it for the Concur integration, we can certainly help out.Ā  We can offer services to get SC installed and setup if it isn’t there at all as well as we have services to help with the Concur to GP integration starting at $1950Ā  (https://www.eonesolutions.com/shop/support-and-services).

We have a customer success story as well around using SmartConnect for this integration if it helps in making your decision.Ā  (https://www.eonesolutions.com/success-story/cross-mediaworks/)

With the Concur Expense Integrator that is on CustomerSource, I have a little bit of experience, but it has been awhile. Is there anything specific you are wondering with it besides what is in the pdf?Ā  I can try to help out.Ā  The main thing I remember in dealing with it is the report you export from Concur has to be in a very specific format and will only import certain fields.Ā  If you wanted anything outside of that, you had to use a different tool such as IM or SmartConnect.

Just let me know if I can offer more assistance on the integration or if you want to evaluate using SmartConnect for it.
