Does anybody know, after you close the GL module.  Does the options on the trial balance report for the year, with radio buttons open, history and current.  If you have done the close, should the only year with the open radio button be 2020 or  would 2019 still show?  The history button has 2019 and the current button has only 2020.  It seems to me that the open should only have 2020 and I have both 2020 and 2019.

Hi Denise,

I see what you are referring to.  It “looks” like it is still showing a closed year as open but that is not the case.  If you click on the drop down, you only see 2020 available.  However, if you were to just open the options window or select the Open radio button, a year populates in the box.  I believe this to be a “bug”.  When I look at a customer I recently closed, I see the year 2018 but then only see 2020 in the drop down.  I know the year is closed so that is why I state it is a visual issue.  Perhaps others might chime in to agree/disagree.  

I have included various screenshots so you can see what it looks like in their company.  As you can see in the first box, it shows 2018. However, when you click the drop down, you only see 2020.  In my opinion, when the Open radio button is selected it should look like when the History radio button is selected…no year is populated to start.

Thanks and you are correct.  I checked with my partner and they also said it looks like a bug.  They were going to report it to Microsoft.  Denise
