Here is the new user’s question:

“In regard to recurring batches in GP. Is it possible rename a batch? If so, how? If it is not possible, can a batch be copied and pasted and renamed at that time? If so, what are the steps to perform this action? I have four recurring batches that have many records each. The only process I know is to copy each record into a new batch. Doing it this way will take a very long time and I feel it would be a complete waste. However, I would like the batches renamed and feel it is important to find a way to do so.”

If you have GP Power Tools, I have sample Sales Batch scripts that can easily move transactions from one batch to another.

It would be possible to use this or create a different script to rename the batch and associated transactions.
