I have utilized the SOP to POP process and seen the MO to Outsourced PO process.

Is there a way to transfer a BOM to a PO in GP2015?

      Bill,

It’s a great idea, but I do not think it’s a feature that is available in native GP.

      Current version GP,

A BOM Item placed on a SOP Order will transfer normally to a POP PO w SOP/POP. (ie., the Parent BOM Item will transfer – not the exploded Component Items)

A KIT Item placed on a SOP Order will transfer as the exploded Components of the KIT to a POP PO w SOP/POP (i.e., the Component Items will transfer as separate lines not the Parent Item)

Need to know a little more – are you in a make to order or job shop environment, where you need to keep the link to the MO (and presumably the SO) in order to know that the PO is for a particular job?
