Is anyone using Analytical Accounting with Transaction Dimension Relation Settings of (owned by) or (valid subset)?

We are looking for a SQL view to report back the set of relationships between AA dimensions and the subsequent valid code combinations.
I’m attaching some raw queries that we are starting from, as per typical AA, it starts to get confusing very quickly as GP replicates the way it records the data as a bi-directional relationship, ie 2 records for every relationship (a is related to b, and b is realted to a).

Visualizing this succintly in a query is a bit of a mind bender.

Our ultimate goal is to create a set of drop down search query parameters for a report with nested relationships between each of the dimension drop downs.

Choose parmeter A,
then valid offerings populate into parameter b, 
choose b
then valid offerings populate into parameter c,
choose c
then valid offerings populate  into parameter d.

Wouldn’t seem terribly challenging, but its AA !!
