Related to this question, I am curious if there are other products out there that work similar to AA.  We are looking to add dimensions to our accounts in GP.  We want the flexibility to add one or more dimensions to certain accounts.  The goal is to decrease our very large COA, but still give us the reporting we need.  Any other products out there work this way?

Does anyone use Analytical Accounting in GP along with Multi Entity Management?  We are considering AA but we use MEM, so just wondering if the two are compatible.

Here is information from Binary Stream about AA with MEM. 

Analytical Accounting generally works fine in GL, SOP, POP, RM, and PM modules with MEM. However, conflicts might occur with intercompany distributions in the Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, or Inventory modules when both Analytical Accounting and MEM are used.

AA transaction dimensions and dimension codes are available in AP Replicator functionality. When a payables document is replicated with a pre-defined template, the dimensions and dimension codes in the template are also replicated.

Programs such as the Mekorma MICR and Analytical Accounting programs do not conflict with the Multi-Entity Management alternate windows and do not require any intervention by MEM as they perform their usual processes.

There’s also Multidimensional Accounting in GP which is what AA was somewhat designed to replace.
