Every month – early in the month, after the cheque run – we print an Aged Trial Balance for Payables which only shows the credit memos remaining in the account. Throughout the month, invoices are received and recorded, therefore if the same report were to be run at the end of the month, it would show different numbers (including the newly recorded invoices).
If we fail to print the first report (credit memos only), or happen to lose it, we cannot recreate the same information at a later date. Is there a way that I could run an Aged Payables Report showing credit memos only? Within the Report Options, there doesn’t appear to be a way to modify it by Type: CRM.
Thanks in advance for your help!

You can use smart list for this.

As Bruce mentioned, you can use SmartList to show only the records of the type that you want (CM). However, be mindful that this will also show as of the date you run the report – not the TB at a historical point in time. Are you looking to just run a report filtering by CM or are you looking to recreate a report ran prior in the month that was lost? If it’s the later you can use the Historical Aged TB to reference a point in time and the values of the report should match the original.
