Adding MDA Code to historical transaction

  Good afternoon!
  
  Does anyone have a way to update historical transactions to reflect the MDA codes? We re in the process of setting up Multi Dimensional Accounting and want to move some data off spreadsheets, but need to retain the details.
  
  It doesn’t appear there is a front end option to do this, but is anyone aware of a way it can be done via SQL updates?
