Hello Does anyone know if you can add a calculated field to a window?Ā I know how to add a field from a table, but not a calculated field. Ā

depending on what that calculation is, you might need to use VBA. if it is just a simple calculation – say unit price * quantity type thing you may be able to do taht in the field propertiesĀ usuallyĀ these requests are more complicated…

it is a simple calculation.Ā Billed_Amt/ExpectedContract. Ā Ā I guess I will take another look at the documentation.Ā I only remember seeing how to add a field form a table.

Hi, You can certainly enter a custom field, but you will need to do the calculation using VBA. You can also use GP Power Tools from Winthrop DevelopersĀ Winthrop Development Consultants – Products – GP Power Tools A lot depends on what you want to do with the calculated balance. If you just want to display on the window rather than actually saving the balance in a table. Kind regards, Leslie
