A few of our employees were set up in out 401k last month and the Controller didn’t mark the Federal and State tax boxes. They should have been marked automatically because they are marked in the setup. Now I am trying to fix it and I am getting a popup that I can’t mark the box now because there is already activity. Is there any way to work around this?
I would suggest you contact your partner for help correcting this as yes, this is something that CAN be altered in SQL, the question is should it.
Because now it is not just that one code, but correcting all of the pay and taxes that has come before it.
Frankly, I would advise making THIS code inactive and setting up a new one correctly, then you’ll need to assign that and use the new code going forward.Ā At that juncture you should evaluate correction of what has already happened.??
