I am trying to see how to utilize the wildcard ledger allocations in D365.  Example – account range is 60000..80000.  I have 3 financial dimensions that will have a flat % applied to every account in this range.
bal – 60000 = 10000.00 – allocation 30% to dept1, 30% to dept2, 40% to dept3
do the same for all accounts in this range.
When I look at the destination it wants a specific ledger account chosen so it looks like a destination has to be setup for every account in this range which is a huge amount of maintenance going forward.
It seems the allocations are meant just to take dollars for a range of accounts to only one ledger account
