We have an instance of AX 4, heavily customized, that we are going to need to “relocate” for continued use.

Does anyone have any experience/advice in making this type of move, most likely to a hosted center such as Rackspace?

      Thanks,

You might want to call Kevin at CGS, we have worked with them for 5 years and they would be able to provide some guidance for you.  Feel free to contact me if you want any additional info about CGS and our experience!!

      Hello Sally,
I have plenty of experience moving AX 40 to a cloud provider.  I was on a heavily-customized AX4 and we moved to the cloud.  Try to keep the SQL Server as a physical server.  The AOS servers play well on VMs.  We could support around 100 clients per AOS before seeing performance degrade.  What specific questions do you have?
