      Hi All,

I am hoping to hear from other users taking advantage of the out-of-the-box “Advanced Bank Reconciliation” functionality, in Dynamics 365FO or AX2012.

what is your experience with it (bad or good)?
tips for what to look out for?
did you have to customize it?

I realize there is a popular 3rd party add on, but since we do not need any other functionality (such as ACH) , I wonder the challenges of using the out of the box option.

      Hi there,
I just set this up in D365 and it was pretty straight forward, no customization was required.Ā  Here’s documentation to set it up:

Set up the advanced bank reconciliation import process – EE: Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365

If you don’t have access to Visual Studio to get the documents needed a developer should.Ā  Here’s a guide to do the reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements by using advanced bank reconciliation – EE: Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365

      Thanks!
I wonder if you know of many/any customers live with that functionality?
what is their usage profile (how many bank accounts, what volume they manage through it?)

Thank you Stacy, incidentally I remember that session (although unfortunately I could not attend, was there something about you needing to step in to do that fairly last minute?…)Ā

I have a reasonable grasp on how to configure it, and the functionality looks decent to me.

I wonder if you or anyone on the forum have actually goneĀ  live with that functionality, and what is the real-life experience?
