Using ledger fiscal calendar period data entity to close a period multiple LEs

  • Using ledger fiscal calendar period data entity to close a period multiple LEs

    Hello, up until we upgraded to v41 I was able to use a single Excel file to load using data management and the “ledger fiscal calendar period” data entity. Now the file I am trying to load will only apply changes to the LE I am loading from. Does anybody know of changes that were made on this data entity? Or if there is a new/better data entity to use?

    If anybody else has the same issue, Microsoft has let us know this is an issue in 40 and 41 and has been fixed for 42. There is no hot fix for this.

    <b style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Cause

    A fix associated with LedgerFiscalPeriodCopyIntoLEAllowedFlight on 10.0.40 and 10.0.41 caused a regression in DMF importing for LedgerFiscalPeriodEntity.

    Mitigation

    This issue can be mitigated by one of options below;

    Use UI to update ledger fiscal period. (General ledger >> Ledger setup >> Ledger calendars)Use DMF import for records with the same company by creating multiple files with each company separately and importing them individually.Enable LedgerFiscalPeriodCopyIntoLEAllowedFlight_KillSwitch.
