I have an end user whose AX system has frozen and is unable to do any transactions. While attempting to edit a PO, she would have received the error message “Changes to the document are only allowed in state draft, because change management is activated.” After this she could not select anywhere in the Procurement and Sourcing module without receiving the same error.
Any ideas as to what can be done to “reactivate” her user?

Have you tried deleting the AUC file? Not sure what version of AX you are using. We use AX2009 and deleting AUC files seems to help for odd situations like the one you are describing.
You may find it helpful to delete Usage Data for that user (or have them do so). You needn’t delete it all if the user has many form customizations, but instead can delete certain usage data lines. For the issue you experience, I suggest deleting Class usage data as a first step.

Hi. Have you also tried user usage data. If it is defined to a user it could be this.
Cheers
