I received a PO with 10 serial numbers and can see the SS# in inventory on hand, but when I go to the sales order I cannot choose the numbers available in stock.
things I have checked:
the use in sales order process is checked in my tracking dimension
I tried to use the update line, registration on the line of the SO but no SS available
Tried to use the ‘register serial numbers’ in the packing slip form but no SS numbers show up to sell from stock
What am I missing?

Have you checked the sales order type? Is it a journal?

Hi Deb,

There are several details to check, start with the inventory dimensions that are defined on the sales line against the dimensions of the on-hand received quantity.
Also, check that the inventory is available. It is possible that it is already reserved or marked against another order.
Was the purchase order generated from the sales order? If it was, then the SNs are already marked to the sales line.
Lastly, is the sales line still open (deliver remainder quantity = line quantity).

Items are in stock on hand with the serial numbers listed. The dimensions used are Site and Warehouse.  The sales order line has the correct dimensions on the line.  Yep SO line is open because I cannot deliver it without the SO due to the configuration requirements.
I can go to the register serial numbers on the SO pack but only can key in manually.
