      Hi everyone,

We are currently on D365FO and we are trying to remove the access for a User to be able to click on the button Reconcile account in the standard Bank reconciliation in the module Cash and Bank management. The user needs to be able to perform the full bank reconciliation except the final action of clicking Reconcile account. Does anyone know if this is feasible? If so, which privilege or action needs to be remove from the role.

      EX:

      Thanks

      Chantal,

I’m not sure what process you followed to see this menu item, normally you can right click on the object itself and get object information on it. But based off the name I was able to find a BankAccountReconcile menu item action object. This object appears on the BankReconciliation form tied to the BankReconciliation menu item display.

It appears the BankAccountReconcile menu item action is assigned to the BankAccountStatementMaintain privilege, which is assigned to the Accountant and Treasurer roles.

      Thanks Alex,

I created a new Privilege (Duplicate of Maintain Bank Statement) and on theĀ BankAccountReconcile menu item action i put the options on Deny instead of granted and it worked. The Role can no longer see or click the Reconcile button.

it is the standard Ban Rec in the Cash and Bank Module that we use.

      Thanks again for your help
      Chantal
