We have determined that one of our warehouses has some hidden characters causing data anomalies when we attempt to export data with that warehouse.  Example:  Visibly the warehouse is named 123456.  When certain exports of that warehouse are attempted, the data shows as ???123456???.  

In a non production environment I have renamed the warehouse and, initially, confirmed the renaming has removed the hidden characters.  We are performing various exports to confirm success.

Obviously, we need to be certain there are no issues with existing data before we consider this change to a production environment.  So, lots of data review and testing needs to be considered.

Has anyone else renamed a warehouse in 2012 with successful results?  Any issues you have come across that you can share?
