      ?We have a PO that is registered but got stuck in approval workflow and cannot post as received.Ā  Error received when trying to post ” stopped (error).: Update has been canceled. Inventory dimension Site must be consistent within the lot, so it cannot be changed.”
      Product was moved through the warehouse and subsequently sold.Ā  It does not show on the financial side either on the GL or Inventory Value Report.Ā  Does anyone have suggestions on the steps to get the PO processed?Ā  Our OH quantities in the warehouse module do not match the Inventory Value Report.

      ?Do you know how to “un register” a specific item?

      Go to the PO-> Product receipt-> lines -> update lines-> registration
      At this point since you have registered the item, put a negative amount to counter the amount registered and post. This will wash the quantity registered.

      If a item is registered and usedĀ but not actually received it will show up as physical available, which could be throwing off your inventory quantity totals. We had a situation similar to this, item A was registered, moved through the warehouse and sold. To fix it we counted the item up, washed the register out, and counted the item back down. But your situation sounds a bit different with the PO. It could be possible the registered item was registered to a inventory dimension site that was not consistent…

      The solution that Alex provided is correct.Ā  I have seen way to often that the registration has been done and the product has been consumed out of inventory.

      You need to bring that item into inventory (make sure that you have the inventory dimensions identical to what was registered).Ā  Then complete the receiving.Ā  Finally adjust the inventory out.
