      Hi all..

We are on AX 2012 RTM.Ā  We have 27 user groups created under System AdminCommonUser Groups.Ā  Does anyone know of a way to determine where each user group is being used within the system?Ā  Is some cases, the individual who created the group provided detail for easy determination (Purchase Req Approval Group) but others are vague.Ā  I am wondering if there is a technical way (within AOT?) to determine where these user groups are actually being used.

Any help and/or ideas are appreciated!

      Thank you!

This probably won’t answer all your questions, but you can personalize your journal name screen to add the “Private for user group” field to the list.Ā  This will allow you to quickly browse the user groups assigned to the journal names.

Check the LedgerJournalName table, BlockUserGroupID field.

In regards to the workflows where a user group may be at play, it’d be best to manually check those. I am not positive if any RTM tables store this info.
