    Prevent items from being deactivated when open production orders exist

    Is there an out of the box way to prevent items and item revisions from being deactivated if there are open Production Orders that reference the item/Rev?

    Hi Patrick –

    Have you looked into Engineering Change Management? There is an impact report that will show all open Production orders, Sales orders, Purchase orders, etc. for items.
