We have just gone live with Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations, Enterprise Edition V7.3, Update 12. Our SI have been trying to get Power BI to work with it, so we can use the various LCS dashboards that Microsoft supply – but to no avail. There appear to be missing data elements in the entity store that are tripping up any ability to use the user workspace integrated dashboards.

Does Power BI work with D365 V7.3 Update 12 at all? Or Update 15? Or do we need to upgrade to V8.0 to have it work correctly?? We can’t find any support resource to say what the various versions (for both D365FO and Power BI) are supported as working together.

Any help, guidance, pointers would be greatly valued.

Apparently fixed by a Microsoft hotfix for vendor transactions reporting. All looking good now. 🙂
