      Hi PBI experts

      We are in process of implementing D365, while in PBI presentation have understanding as PBI is coming free with D 365 and due to data security it wont be attached with other data sources, please can you clarify is PBI for D 365 can connect to other data sources to extract data

      Najeem, I think the issue you will encounter is more licence based than technical. You can embed PowerBI content in D365 and modify the Analytical workspaces, all of which must be based on D365 Entity Store, but for other data sources I believe you will need to licence each user for PowerBI specifically.
