Hi,

When using the Site Dimension link, does anyone know if it is possible to configure the system so that the parent financial dimension of the Financial dimension associated to the Site will default as well?

Our organizational structure has a Parent > Child relationship of Department > Cost Centre. Every Cost Centre has an associated Department. The Site Dimension link has been setup so that the Cost Centre is the dimension that links to the Site. When we process certain transactions, like inventory movement journals, the Cost Center populates, but not the Department.

This forces users to populate the information manually.

We intentionally do not want to link to the Site Financial dimension as we are trying to conform the data to flow to Department and Cost centre to make inquiries, reporting and account structure maintenance simpler.
