How are PO lines items created that will not be ordered again?Ā  It does not make sense to set these up as items.Ā  We will need to enter a description to tell the vendor what each line item is and also be able to charge it to the right account internally.

Any explanation or link to read up on will help.

We are using AX 2012 R3.

      Thanks.

      Hi Mark,Ā

Ā  Procurement Categories are generally recommended for this.Ā  You could also use a service item and change the text on the PO line, but Procurement categories bring a whole lot more functionality to the table.Ā  You can read up on them here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/defining-and-maintaining-procurement-categories

      Hi Mark.
You might take a look at categories.
