Multi-Year Agreements
Our organization is in the Service line and has many multi-year vendor agreements. These are currently maintained outside of D365 F&O; however, we would like to integrate. Is there any user utilizing D365 F&O for multi-year agreements? If so, can you please provide your solution?

Hi Jim,
Have you considered Purchase agreements? They have an Effective date and can have an Expiration date as well.

We are in the process. How will this handle prepayments and recording of an accrual? We have just began the process

In the new Subscription Billing module, there is a process for handling Prepaids. I wrote a blog about this: D365FandO(m): Subscription Billing – Expense Deferrals (d365fandom.com) – it is AWESOME!

Thank you for the information. For clarification, these are invoices from a vendor rather than from our organization. At a high level these are annual maintenace agreements.
