      Hello all,

We run AX 2012 CU10.Ā  We’re a bit new to AX 2012 inventory management.
We’re preparing to run our first inventory close.

We have some issues that won’t be adjusted for anĀ item and we can’t figure out why.

The item uses “Weighted average date” stock model.Ā  The attached screen shows the entire inventory transaction history for this item.Ā Ā Ā  It also shows the cost explorer for one of these issues.
A screen shot of the storage dimension group of the item is also attached.

      As we understand it,
      – The receipt from the transfer (IVJ-000832) should have been adjusted from $1450 to $1549,86 because the issuing side of that transfer was adjusted to that amount.Ā  It was only adjusted to $1519.
      – The 3 issues at $145 should have been adjusted to $154.99, but the cost explorer shows them as “open issues”.Ā Ā Ā  We don’t understand why and we don’t know where else in AX to look for an answer.
      – TheĀ “gap” in the receipt adjustment ($1549.86-$1519.90=$29.96) matches the gap in the open issues ($154.99-$145*3 = $29.97).

We don’t understand why all these transactions can’t be adjusted correctly.
Can you help us find out why? or tell us where to look?

      Thanks.

      Hi Denis,

I don’t see any of the virtual inventory transactions that the weighted average models often create during Inventory close. Did you actually run Inventory close (and pre-closing) on this data yet?Ā

Also, the screenshot doesn’t show the Issue side of the Transfer; is it showing all Transactions for that Item & Warehouse MINF-1?

Do you have any Tracking dimensions enabled?

      Hi Guy,

Thanks for your answer.Ā  Here is the full transaction list from both warehouses, including the adjustment entry created by the weighted average.Ā  I haven’t stopped to figure out the amounts in this entry.

No, we d’ont have any tracking dimension.

      Thanks again.
