      Hi All,Ā

My team is in the middle of implementing AX D365.Ā  The company is planning to cancel a subscription with an application who currently creates these international documents: Commercial invoice, various certificate of origins (NAFTA, CAFTA, CARICOM, Peru, Chile, etc.), Shipper’s Letter of Instruction, Dangerous goods declarations to name a few.Ā  They feel they are not getting any benefit from this 3P vendor to justify the current cost and want to recreate these forms in D365.Ā Ā

Has anyone experienced this same challenge? Can anyone using MS D365 recommend an ISV or third-party application or let me know what your approach was?Ā

      Thanks,
      Liz Lanier

      Hello Liz,
I cannot provide you with some information that is specific for the US but only for companies operating in Europe that use similar 3rd party tools. What we noticed is that those tools might still be cheaper to use rather than trying to incorporate those functionalities in D365FO. That is not only because some of the functionalities might be missing but also because of often changing legal regulations. Therefore, most companies I worked with in the past continued using those 3rd party tools because they were not able / did not want to follow up all those regulatory changes that are published every now and then and that might require some modifications to be made to the setup in D365FO.
      Hope this helps.
      Best regards,
      Ludwig
