      Hi,

We have multiple retail stores, a call center, a website, and a single distribution warehouse.  The distribution warehouse fulfills orders from the call center and website.  Is there a way to configure AX so that orders / order lines from the website or call center are fulfilled directly from the retail stores if a line item is out of stock in the distribution warehosue?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

      HI Daniel,

We are also in the process of setting up a website for e-commerce.
Can you please let me know what are you using for e-commerce and how it has been integrated with AX?
We are using Ax 2012 R3.
Also I would like to know the answer to your question as it will help us in going forward.

Our web hosting company is CommerceV3.
We use eBridge for all EDI integration.  They built a custom integration to AX for us, but they have a CV3 integration already.

So far I haven’t heard from anyone that is doing this with AX.

We use Demandware for webhosting (now Commerce Cloud) and used a company called Visionet that has a product called EdgeAX that integrates AX R3 to Demandware (also supports Magento).

Good morning, we also use DemandWare which is integrated with AX R12. If you want to systemically ship from store when their is no supply in your wholesale warehouse you will need to create custom code based on primary warehouse then store selection based on zip code or some other key.  You can also designate a primary warehouse and then a secondary store to ship from.  You would use this logic if only a handful of stores can accommodate ship from store.  Zip code as a key is more efficient
