We have a new cloud based D365 Production instance where we are using a Unified Ledger – so need to alter the various workspace dashboards to use a Dimension for a “Directorate” rather than a Company ID. I have downloaded the pbix files for these from LCS, but these use a directquery on the AxDW database – which for Production systems, is only allowed from the Workspace resident views (not from Power BI desktop). However, I can find no instructions anywhere of how to can tailor the dashboards, and then replace the views used on the Production instance with the same model but with modified report or page filters. Is the process documented anywhere?
