I am attempting to delete a fixed Asset and I receiving an error. I know that deleting from the SQL table is a possibility for fixing this issue. Are there any other fixes from the UI side?

The FixedAsset ‘COMP-000000005’ is used in one or more transactions of the following types: Ledger and cannot be deleted.

Hi Amber,

Once a transaction of any type is created and posted against a Fixed Asset, you will not be able to delete the Fixed Asset. Is disposal of the Fixed Asset an option?

  Thank you for responding. We modified the FA and used it for a new FA. The original never had anything posted to it
