      Hi All ,

We have many options like in the Fixed asset module to adjust the asset value as mentioned below.

      Acquistion adjustment

      Write up

      Write down

      Revaluation

Could any one explain why these many options and what is the difference between these options ?

      Thanks in advance.

Fixed asset transaction types are simply used to classify transactions.  AX gives you the flexibility to provide different posting profiles for each type.  There are various regulatory reporting requirements based on the country you operate in and your type of business.  The various transaction types for adjusting asset valuation just give you options for grouping transactions.  From a finance perspective there are subtle differences between an acquisition adjustment and a revaluation (i.e. write up or write down).
