We recently starting having an issue, where Sales Order lines are randomly duplicating – they come in at the same QTY, but with stock base pricing, and get this.. THE SAME LINE NUMBER. It has happened twice so far, and we cannot determine the cause. We do not import SOs, so they are all manual entry – these duplicates were added after the confirmation, after we have left the building.

I have included a screen shot of the Invoice line numbers, to clarify the line numbers I mention.

Has anyone seen this before, and if so, what was the solution or root cause?

I found a link where they describe something similar – sounds like it could have been a cached screen somewhere that eventually posted.
