We went live with D365 and Commerce module for 10 retail stores earlier this month. We are looking for a good way to update the on-hand inventory quantities from our month end physical inventory counts. The best option we found so far is to use Quantity Adjustment on the On-Hand list (Inventory Management > Inquiries and reports > On-hand list), but we hope there is something better.

Some details about our configuration. All 10 stores are in the same legal entity. All 10 stores carry similar items and an item uses the same item number across all our stores. We are using site and warehouse, but are not using locations. We are not using warehouse management. We have tried Counting journals, but they show locks if more than one site (store) has the same item in their open counting journal. There are many items that are carried in all our stores, so this does not work well. We have manufacturing operations using AX2012, but this is our first venture on D365.
