I updated some custom fields the DMFCustomerPostalAddressView and the DMFCustomerAddressEntity.

When I run DMFCustomerPostalAddressView in the AOT, I get the fields I need including the custom.

I then created a processing group for the customerAddress with a Source data format, and ran the export to a csv file. Ā But those new fields do not show up. Ā I thought if it was a straight dump, we only had to add them to the view and table. Ā What am I missing. Ā When doing the AX source data format, there isn’t an option to do any source mapping, so where do I tell it what fields to export?

The DMF tables are the staging tables.Ā  You also need to adjust the Target Entity to include those fields so it will transfer the data from Target to Staging for export.

Data Import Export Framework > Setup > Target Entities > Modify Target Mapping

Thanks. Ā I linked the custom fields from the Staging list to the proper function. Ā

How do I get those fields (or any other field in the staging list) to show up in the Target list?

Ah – it looks like I needed to create a new entity, just not edit the old. Ā After creating a new Entity, I see it has the added fields in the target.
