We are running AX 2012 R3 RTM and have for a while some issues with delivery address on sales orders.
Some customers in sweden insert the zip-code to a postal box, instead of the correct zip-code.

For example, lets say that 11122 Stockholm is a postal box, and 11144 is the same Place, but it“s the actual delivery address.
Now, if the customer orders a pallet of Products, the carrier will not deliver this to them and our program that actually does the label print outs after the goods have been packed, will validate the address. But thats too late.

Is there any ISV or AX-standard solutions that can validate a delivery address Before the sales order is confirmed and the picking list is generated?
We alreay have all the Nordic postal and zip-codes in AX that we update on a regular basis. But AX still does“nt know if 11122 is ok or not to deliver to.

So when the sales order is created and during the confirmation we want AX to validate the delivery address Before confirming the actual order. And not validating just to see if the fields are there, but do an actuall lookup on the address to verify that Street X number 15 and zip and postals are actually correct.

We do have this as i mentioned from Unifaun, but thats in the last steps just Before the order gets delivered, which is way too late.
