We’re running a cloud instance of D365 FO EE V7.3 PU 12. We were very surprised when first installed last July (we’re in the UK) that HSBC and Lloyds weren’t supported for BAI2 payment formats, and we had to pay our SI to have these developed for us. The reference site we had use Royal Bank of Scotland.

We now have UAT’d D365FO EE V8.1 PU 21, and neither HSBC nor Lloyds payment files work. So more dev work coming up.

Our CFO finds it unbelievable that we’re the only D365 FO user in the UK that uses these two banks (almost all UK businesses use one or more of 5 banks here). Does anyone else have these problems on payments? We’d be delighted if these were supported by the core Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Ops, Enterprise Edition product in the future (if not done already!).

      Hi Ian.
Have you got any feedback on this?

      Hiya,

I put the same query on the Finance & Operations forum at dynamics.microsoft.com. The suggestion was that there were too many banks for Microsoft to provide these worldwide – but given almost all business in the UK is 5 main banks, it sounded like an awful lot of unnecessary duplication to keep re-inventing that wheel.

Hence I submitted as a feature request idea for Microsoft to consider. Either to provide them themselves, or have an area where those of us who’ve done it once can reshare the work for use by the community. In the interim, we’re likely have to pay for changes – as the ones for HSBC and Lloyds we were supplied with (and which cost us over GBP 13,000) were buggy.?
