      Hi together

In AX2012 it was not possible to search for products with specific product attributs in released products list or when creating a new BOM line.
Is there now a way in D365 ?

      Or is there also a way in AX2012 i didn´t know…

      Thanks for your Reply.

      Hi Christian,

There are ways to search attributes. At To-Increase we have our engineering solution which does also the attribute search and of course way more.

Why do you need to search products using the attributes?

      Hi Johan

Our costumers want to search because they want to know which products do they have with an special attribut.

For example an engineer want to know which screws from type M8 are in the ERP-System for using in a BOM. Can he use one of the existing or should he create a new one.

So it is also necessary to search for Attributs when user create an new BOM.

      Best regards.

      Hi togehter

Please like my suggestion in following link:

      https://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions/Feedback/Details/3118429

The more “Yes” votes a suggestion receives, the more likely that it will be included during the planning cycle of an upcoming product enhancement or release.

      Thanks to all.

      Best regards.

      Hello Jorgen

      Thanks for your reply.

We know the possibility to search in the different PLM´s.
But not every costumer would like to use a PLM.

Therefore a search must also be possible in the Standard.

      Best Regards.
