Any one have any documentation of “check set up” in AX under check layout. I am trying to understand these tabs : Gemeral, Setup, Codes how they impact and play role in check set up

I have to set up Wells Fargo bank check set up

Question 1 is are you printing to pre-printed check stock or blank stock.  We are printing to pre-printed and really didn’t have to mess with much on the layout screen:  Check form and the Layout fields, signatures.  We need to have a developer tweak the position of fields on the related SSRS report and there was a lot of back and forth to get it right.  

I’m afraid I can’t comment on the blank stock scenario.

This is a very basic check layout structure depending on what you are trying to do.  If you want AX to generate a continuous check number the check number method has to be fixed.  If you can provide more information on what you are trying to do(paper check, upload file)?  and what kind of printing device, we use Planet Press to generate our printed checks, I may can guide you more.
