We currently use Sandler-Kahne’s Treasury Automation Suite module in Dynamics AX 2012 R3 for applying checks from our bank’s lockbox files and credit card payment files from the bank that we import into AX.Ā  It works okay for the most part, but is lacking in some other areas.

We are migrating to D365 next year and are curious if D365 has this functionality natively.Ā  If not, what third-party applications are being used for importing lockbox and credit card files, and applying the payments customer across companies in D365.

      Thank you for your feedback.

Do you mind sharing some of the things where you find the product lacking?

Unfortunately I do not know of an alternative, but it would be good to know what to take into account when deciding whether to implement the product

There are some smaller issues, but the biggest is that we have 13 transactional companies (legal entities) in AX.Ā  If a lockbox file has payment information for an invoice sitting in company 7, but the file is imported into company 2, it doesn’t match that payment to the invoice.Ā  It sits in the workbench and takes a human to match them.Ā  If that same invoice were in company 2, it would have matched the payment to the invoice.

I also hate that SK charges by the hour for support.Ā  I guess our support contract only covers upgrades, which there never are any.

They were also very slow to respond when we had them develop custom matching rules for us.Ā  It took months to finally get it from them.

Very interesting to learn their automatic matching rules do not support “central payment” scenario (money is received in one company for an invoice recorded in another company) – this is a fairly standard business scenario.

      thanks!

Mark, We are using High Radius’ application suite for the cash app side. It was a fairly simple implementation and has been pretty a reliable product to date.
