      Hi,

We have a case workflow set up and there is a user request to be able to reject a specific step, back to the prior step.  Recalling the workflow brings it all the way back and user needs to re-submit into the workflow.  If we are at task 8 of the workflow, the user would like to kick it back to say step 7 to have some revisions made prior to approving step 8.

I tried creating a manual decision step where choice 1 would forward the workflow to the next step, while choice 2 would move it back to the prior step (Choice 1=approve, Choice 2=reject).  This isn’t allowed since it creates a circular reference in the workflow.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to handle this scenario?

      Thanks.

      Patrick
