“Business Events for integrations” are listed as in “Private Preview” with platform release 24 and General Availability June 2019.Ā  However, we are already on platform release 24 and the latest April 2019 version of D3565FO in our Contoso demo environment and we can not see the menu options described in this document below.Ā  And the document doesn’t have the blue warning saying it is only in preview.Ā  #Flow #Connector #D3565FO

      https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/dev-itpro/business-events/home-page

      https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/fin-and-ops/get-started/whats-new-platform-update-24

Has anyone gotten this working with Flow using the triggers that are now in Preview in the D365FO connector?Ā  Without the Business Events enabled and batch job running in FO, the triggers are never seen by the listener in Flow.Ā
These menu paths do not appear for us in FO:

System administration > Set up > Business events

System administration > Periodic tasks > Business events.

      Ā
One other symptom: when I browse the connectors in Flow, and I see that D365FO is a “recently added” connector. But when I try to view the connector details, I get an error screen “It looks like something went wrong”. However, there are five templates that use it and I can put the connector into a flow and see that the new triggers can be chosen from the dropdown list. (It says “preview” at the top of the step, although I couldn’t find it on the roadmap.)Ā  So it does seem like I am seeing the preview version in Flow.Ā  But can’t see the preview of Business Events in D365FO, so I can’t test the triggers out.

I got two responses to this question on the Communities forum.Ā  Ā

“Probably you have to enable the feature using FLIGHTING

Please have a look at next blog-post

“In PU24, the business events were in preview and should be enabled using “flighting”. The documentation to enable it has been removed as it is now released as part of PU26. If you update to this platform ( and app 10.0.2), you can use the business events with the latest finalized features.”

So I will try these things.
