      Hi All

In 2019, uploadedĀ  2 budgets one in Jan and another in Apr. While running the comparative report (actual vs budget), MR pulls data for actual as well as Jan budget.Ā  However when changed to Apr budget it appears blank. Any suggestion to trouble shoot this issue

      Thanks and kind regards

      Hi Nazim,

Have you run the “Refresh cached financial data” routine under the tools menu in MR??Ā

After that the first thing I would check is the source data. Are there any entries for April?? If not MR has no data to present.

Next look at the column definition set up and check what is populated under:

      • Book code/ attribute category
      • Period
      • Period covered
      • Attribute filters.

Make sure these settings relate to the budgets you have in the system.

If all else fails as your technical team to reset the data mart in MR.

      Kind Regards

      Mark

      Hi Nazim,

In AX2012 R3 the refresh of the data mart is done from the SQL server DB.Ā

      Kind Regards

?I think the budget has to be in completed status (not draft) before Management Reporter will show the numbers.

?Look on your column definition and verify that the book code/attribute category is set to pull the budget model name you uploaded for April.

I personally prefer to set up a top level budget model that I reference in Management Reporter and then add any additional budget models as submodels underneath that one. That ensures I don’t have to update MR column definitions when loading the budget for a new year, for example.

      Hi Steve
Column definition is good. When column definition checked and comparedĀ  with Budget V1 and Budget V2, its same. Budget V1 numbers areĀ  showing in MR and Budget V2 not.

budget V1 was uploaded in Feb 2019, where as Budget V2 uploaded in AX in April, not showing in MR

Any thoughts to trouble shoot, please advise

      Thanks and kind regards
